Beautiful holiday home in Marielyst on Falster

On the island of Falster lies the popular resort town of Marielyst which is known among other things for its beautiful beach and charming square with lots of nice cafés and independent shops. The area has lots to see and do – for example, take a walk through the splendid Corselitze Garden or visit Denmark’s largest mini golf course. Or if the weather lets you down, you can stay indoors and enjoy the many great facilities in the house – so nobody need ever go bored!

The house has been stylishly decorated with an eye for detail and has enough space for up to a total of 20 people. Sleeping accommodation is divided across eight bedrooms plus there is space for four people in the loft (popular with kids and teens). One of the bedrooms is extra large and is well suited for having a cot with you in the room. All in all there is plenty of space for the whole extended family or multiple families to holiday under one roof.

The house also has a beautiful pool room with something for every taste – an exquisite whirlpool, a warming sauna and a 19 m2 swimming pool. The pool has a water slide, Roman steps and a counter-current system. The perfect place to splash and soak for hours on end.

The house also has a game and activity room which is separate from the main living space. It has billiards, table tennis, darts, table football and a cosy sofa corner with a PlayStation 4. Unleash your competitive side and give it your all or simply chill out and enjoy the corner bar while you cheer on the players. The activity room also has a cosy play loft which is equipped with beanbag chairs and a TV.

The summer house has a cosy living area with a long dining table with enough room for all 20 guests. From the sofa corner in the corner you can enjoy the warmth of the wood-burning stove and make yourself snug with a good book or film. The stylish kitchen is well equipped and has two dishwashers, two ovens, two sinks, two fridges and a large freezer, so cooking for many people will be no trouble at all.

The summer house has a large and bright entrance hall where there is ample space for guests to hang up their outerwear. There are four bathrooms in total across the property. The property enjoys a tranquil location at the bottom of a cul-de-sac which makes it particularly child-friendly and great for families. Outside there is a large tiled terrace with garden furniture where all the guests can get together for a barbecue. Part of the terrace is covered for shade on hot afternoons or shelter if the weather starts to falter. Children can play in the nice garden where you will find a play tower with slide and swing plus football nets, a sandbox and an in-ground trampoline.

The house also has a charger for electric and hybrid cars.

The house also has its very own fire pit. The bench around the fire pit is big enough for 6–7 people and a great place to sing campfire songs, toast marshmallows or try some Danish bonfire bread.

Frequently asked questions about this type of holiday home

How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

If you need an estimate for a stay before you book your holiday home, our booking team is always ready to help you. As long as you know how big a holiday home you plan to rent, when you want to go and how many guests you will have, we can give you a price estimate for your consumption.

Renting a VillaVilla holiday home should be safe for you. Over 90% of VillaVilla holiday homes are equipped with a Vølund heat pump, which delivers around 3.5-5 times as much heat energy as it uses in electrical energy. This means that compared to a holiday in a similar holiday home with, for example, electric radiators, you will not experience nearly the same increase in price if energy prices rise. For houses with air-to-water heat pumps and ground-source heating, the cost of heating is included in the electricity charge.
