What is your role at VillaVilla?
I’ve been part of the team since January 2008. When I joined VillaVilla as the first full-time employee, it was a small start-up company with true entrepreneurial spirit—so it’s been an incredibly exciting journey. Today, I lead a strong and highly experienced team that works hard every day to make our guests happy and ensure they have a great stay.
My joy in going to work is unmistakable. The sense of community I share with my colleagues is something truly special and a vital part of what makes VillaVilla unique. Not every task is thrilling every day—but I always look forward to coming to work and being with the VillaVilla team. And to me, that’s a huge privilege.
What do you do in your free time?
The sense of community at VillaVilla doesn’t end at the office. Together with a group of like-minded colleagues who also enjoy staying active, we regularly meet up for runs and other outdoor activities. The fact that this is possible says a lot about the strong team spirit at VillaVilla.
Another big part of my everyday life is playing padel and spending quality time with family and friends. Every year, we also gather in a VillaVilla holiday home, where the whole family gets the chance to enjoy time together in true holiday home style.
When it comes to holiday home destinations, Denmark has so much to offer—and VillaVilla has plenty of houses to create wonderful experiences in. It’s easy to go exploring in every corner of the country, from Lolland, Falster, and Møn to West and East Jutland.
