What is your role at VillaVilla?
Throughout my career, I have worked in the holiday home rental industry, starting as an apprentice at a small agency in 1984 and continuing until now. For the past 26 years, I have been with one of the largest players in the industry. I am very happy to have had the opportunity to join VillaVilla since April 2024, a company I have known for many years through my previous work.
I am part of the VillaVilla service team, where my role is to help develop our service concept and our cooperation with the local VillaVilla hosts as well as all our homeowners. Although the distance from Hune to Viborg is quite long, it doesn’t matter much when you experience such a great working environment — with very skilled, competent, and kind colleagues.
What do you do in your free time?
In my free time, I spend a lot of time caring for and riding my Icelandic horses — I have four of them. When I was younger, I competed quite a bit, but nowadays I mostly enjoy riding in nature.
Besides that, I often go for runs with my dog in the natural areas around Blokhus/Hune, where I live. Since I have spent much of my life working during the summer season, I mostly travel in the winter. However, I am incredibly lucky to live in the loveliest summerhouse area, so I feel like I’m in a summerhouse all the time — and that’s very cozy.
