Beautiful summer house for your holiday in Dueodde
Bornholm has something magical about it, and Dueodde, where we offer our holiday home rentals, is a lovely and attractive holiday destination. Below you can read more about what you can see and do when you are on holiday in Bornholm.
Dueodde is the southernmost part of Bornholm, and it is characterised by its white sandy beaches, which stretch for kilometres. Our holiday homes are just a short walk from one of the best beaches in Europe, namely Dueodde Strand. The sand here is so fine and white that it has been used in hourglasses. The water is clear, and the beach is very child friendly.
The holiday home area is right next to Snogebæk, which is a quaint little fishing village with restaurants and speciality shops. Dueodde is located between Dueodde Strand and the equally well-known Balka Strand. From here it is not far from the next port town, Nexø, which is the second largest on the island. Here you can find plenty of options for shopping. Pay a visit to its local smokehouse and artisans. The area is the perfect base for excursions all across Bornholm.

Sights on Bornholm
Bornholm is known for its old round churches, and these are absolutely worth a visit. Bornholm has four round churches, all just a short drive away.
You can also take a trip to the Sanctuary Rocks (Helligdomsklipperne), which are a series of pretty, rugged coastal rocks and caves. The most famous of the caves is the Black Cauldron (Sorte Gryde), which you can go and explore – if you dare.
On the northern tip of the island is where you will find Hammershus, which is the largest castle ruin in Northern Europe. Hammershus is absolutely worth a visit, and you will even have the opportunity to see it from the water. Take a guided boat tour which sails along the cliffs, and experience sights such as the largest bird cliff in Denmark.
