      This beautiful holiday home invites you to enjoy a comfortable vacation for 12 people close to the water in Saksild Strand in East Jutland. Saksild is a charming village located just 8 km from Odder where you will find lots of shops and speciality businesses. Aarhus is only half an hour away from the house by car and offers a wealth of sights, restaurants, cafés and museums. Saksild is known for its beautiful and varied natural areas which are great for brisk long walks and exploring from the saddle of your bike. Within short driving distance from the house you can take ferries to both Tunø and Samsø which are both great day-trip destinations.

      The property’s main living space is a comfortable room with dining area and wood-burning stove with enough room for everyone to gather. Located together with the living space is a well-equipped kitchen.

      In the popular activity room, you will find a combined billiards and table tennis table as well as table football so you can cut loose and compete for as long as your hearts desire.

      The house has two bathrooms, one of which is equipped with both an inviting whirlpool and a sauna.

      Sleeping accommodation is spread across four double bedrooms and two lofts each with two mattresses (best for kids and young people).

      Outdoors there is a swing and a sandbox for younger guests to enjoy while the adults barbecue on the terrace or relax in the garden furniture.

      Yes, wood for the stove must be brought, but can often be bought locally in small portions.

      Do we need to bring our own games for the PlayStation?

      Absolutely! You need to bring your own games for the PlayStation games console.

      Are there cots and highchairs in the house?

      Absolutely! There is always a minimum of 1 cot and 1 high chair in our houses - please note that you will need to bring a mattress.

      Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

      Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.
