This modern holiday home with pool is located just a few minutes from the beach on foot and offers plenty of room for your entire family or friend group. With space for up to 30 guests across 12 bedrooms and five bathrooms, comfort is guaranteed for kids and adults alike. One of the bedrooms is a family room with a double bed and bunk bed, plus there is also a cosy loft that can sleep up to four.

The pool area is the natural heart of this home, and a place where guests of all ages can have fun in the warm water and feel those holiday vibes. Little ones will love the slide, while the adults can enjoy an invigorating dip or disconnect in the whirlpool and sauna – both located out on the wooden deck where you will also find an outdoor shower to rinse off after a perfect day. The deck boasts plenty of space for both relaxing and socialising. While the kids play on the swings, the adults can fire up the barbecue and enjoy long evenings outdoors.

When the weather isn't on your side, the indoor activity room will keep you entertained. Here you can go head to head in table tennis, billiards, darts and table football – or simply unwind in the sofa corner with a drink from the bar.

In the living area, you can gather around the long dining table for shared meals, games and cosy moments. The XL kitchen is equipped with two ovens, two dishwashers and two fridges, making it easy to prepare meals for many people at once.

The area features a large multi-purpose court and a shared playground with activities for children of all ages. There are excellent opportunities here for play, ball games, and community for both young and old.

Marielyst is known for its wide, child-friendly beach, cosy cafes and lively atmosphere. Here, you'll find everything you need for a fun and relaxing holiday.

Frequently asked questions about this type of holiday home

What time can we arrive at the house?

The house will be at your disposal from 15:00 on your day of arrival. It is not normally possible to access the house earlier than that.

What time do we need to vacate the house by?

The house is at your disposal until 10:00 on your day of departure (or 11:00 if you are departing on a Sunday). A later departure than that is not usually possible.

How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

If you need an estimate for a stay before you book your holiday home, our booking team is always ready to help you. As long as you know how big a holiday home you plan to rent, when you want to go and how many guests you will have, we can give you a price estimate for your consumption.

Renting a VillaVilla holiday home should be safe for you. Over 90% of VillaVilla holiday homes are equipped with a Vølund heat pump, which delivers around 3.5-5 times as much heat energy as it uses in electrical energy. This means that compared to a holiday in a similar holiday home with, for example, electric radiators, you will not experience nearly the same increase in price if energy prices rise. For houses with air-to-water heat pumps and ground-source heating, the cost of heating is included in the electricity charge.

Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?

It is possible to purchase a linen package with linen and two towels (one large and one small) for DKK 135 each. Alternatively, bring your own.

Do you have to bring your own wood for the wood burning stove?

Yes, wood for the stove must be brought, but can often be bought locally in small portions. Note: Not all holiday homes have a wood burning stove (please see the house description).

Do we need to bring our own games for the gaming console?

Absolutely! You need to bring your own games for the gaming console. Note: Not all holiday homes have a gaming console (please see the house description).

Are there cots and highchairs in the house?

Absolutely! There is always a minimum of 1 cot and 1 high chair in our houses - please note that you will need to bring a mattress.

Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.

Will the pool be warm upon arrival?

Absolutely! The pool is always heated to between 26-29 degrees and ready for use upon arrival. Note: Not all holiday homes have a pool (please see the house description).
