      Pool house for 20 people just 500 metres from a lovely beach and 300 metres from large protected nature area by beautiful Udsholt Strand.

      The house has its very own water park with an 18 m2 swimming pool with Roman steps and water slide – great fun for water lovers of all ages. After your swim, you can then relax in the warming sauna or the bubbling whirlpool.

      The house also has an activity room where you can compete for glory or freedom from dishes at table tennis, table football or darts. Here you will also find the house’s very own bar with fridge and a cosy sofa area with a television and a PlayStation 4.

      The large kitchen/dining space has a long dining table with room for everyone and a view into the pool room. Close to the wood-burning stove is a cosy sofa area with TV.

      In order to make cooking for multiple people as convenient as possible, the stylish kitchen with granite worktops is equipped with two ovens, two cookers, two dishwashers and freezer/fridges with ice and water dispensers.

      The house sleeps 20 people in total across seven bedrooms with either a double bed or two singles and a loft which has room for six people (best suited for kids).

      There is plenty of space for fun and games outside as well. The terrace outside has a barbecue and garden furniture for relaxing barbecue evenings in the evening air. Younger guests can play in the sandbox, play ball or enjoy a go on the swings.

      The resort town of Rågeleje with its beach promenade, cosy cafés and restaurants is just a few kilometres away. Gilleleje is just 5 km away and has managed to preserve much of its original charming and idyllic fishing village atmosphere with quaint alleys and thatched roofs. Gilleleje is a lively tourist and fishing village with the largest fishing port in Zealand at its heart as well as many restaurants and speciality stores.

      The nature around Udsholt Strand offers ample opportunity to enjoy outdoor pursuits such as surfing, hang gliding, fishing, hiking, running and cycling in areas such as Heatherhill (35 hectares of protected moorland by the sea), the Enchanted Forest (Troldeskoven) and Tibirke Hills. Culturally, the area also has a lot to offer – Kronborg Castle, Fredensborg Palace, the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art and the Rudolph Tegner museum are all in the vicinity. Or if urban pulse is more your thing, the many sights and shops of Copenhagen are just 45 minutes away by car.

      How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

      Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

      If you need an estimate for a stay before you book your holiday home, our booking team is always ready to help you. As long as you know how big a holiday home you plan to rent, when you want to go and how many guests you will have, we can give you a price estimate for your consumption.

      Renting a VillaVilla holiday home should be safe for you. Over 90% of VillaVilla holiday homes are equipped with a Vølund heat pump, which delivers around 3.5-5 times as much heat energy as it uses in electrical energy. This means that compared to a holiday in a similar holiday home with, for example, electric radiators, you will not experience nearly the same increase in price if energy prices rise. For houses with air-to-water heat pumps and ground-source heating, the cost of heating is included in the electricity charge.

      Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?

      It is possible to purchase a linen package with linen and two towels (one large and one small) for DKK 135 each. Alternatively, bring your own.

      Do you have to bring your own wood for the wood burnin stove?

      Yes, wood for the stove must be brought, but can often be bought locally in small portions.

      Do we need to bring our own games for the PlayStation?

      Absolutely! You need to bring your own games for the PlayStation games console.

      Are there cots and highchairs in the house?

      Absolutely! There is always a minimum of 1 cot and 1 high chair in our houses - please note that you will need to bring a mattress.

      Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

      Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.

      Will the pool be warm upon arrival?

      Absolutely! The pool is always heated to between 26-29 degrees and ready for use upon arrival.
