      This Skanlux holiday home is located by Vejby Strand in North Zealand. Here you can sunbathe and relax on the long sandy beach while the kids build sand castles to their hearts' content. There are various shops in the local area including a supermarket. Copenhagen is around an hour away by car while cultural hotspot Helsingoør (Elsinor) can be reached in half that time and is where you’ll find Kronborg Castle and the M/S Maritime Museum.

      The house sleeps a total of sixteen people. There are two double bedrooms and four twin bedrooms. Plus there is space for four more to sleep up in the cosy loft. The perfect place to chat away into the wee hours of the night while tucked up nice and cosy in your beds. Guests have access to three bathrooms with showers.

      The property is well set up for a holiday of relaxation and self care. It has an inviting sauna where you can enjoy warm moments away from the stress and bustle of everyday life. Alternatively you can activate the underwater massage function on the whirlpool to really unwind. Plus the house also has an 18 m2 indoor swimming pool where you can do some exercise or simply have a splash. A brisk ball game in the water is always a great way to kick off an active day on your holidays. Meanwhile, adrenaline junkies can take to the fun water slide.

      The holiday home also has an activity room. Here you can challenge your friends to a round on the PlayStation 4 or a spot of billiards, table tennis or table football while spectators can follow each match from the cosy home bar with its own fridge. It is nigh-on impossible to go bored in this holiday home.

      Belly starting to rumble? Then simply head for the open kitchen/living space complete with all essential kitchen appliances and equipment. Thanks to the open-plan design, cooking need not be a solitary obligation. Instead your friends and family can help and keep you company as you whip up something delicious. The spacious kitchen also has plenty of space for several cooks to work in the kitchen at the same time. From the dining table, there is a beautiful view out to the terrace.

      And in the living room you will find a cosy nook with sofas. A great place to make yourself cosy and plan the next day’s adventure or simply relax after an action-packed day. End the day with an exciting film, listening to your favourite music over the stereo system or just relaxing with a good book.

      The outdoor area has a well-appointed and spacious terrace with direct access from the open-plan kitchen/living space. Table, chairs, infrared outdoor heating and a barbecue all set the scene for relaxing summer evenings under the open sky. Not even a few raindrops could spoil the mood as the terrace is partially covered.

      How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

      Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

      Yes, wood for the stove must be brought, but can often be bought locally in small portions.

      Absolutely! You need to bring your own games for the PlayStation games console.

      Are there cots and highchairs in the house?

      Absolutely! There is always a minimum of 1 cot and 1 high chair in our houses - please note that you will need to bring a mattress.

      Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

      Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.

      Will the pool be warm upon arrival?

      Absolutely! The pool is always heated to between 26-29 degrees and ready for use upon arrival.
