      This Skanlux house in Vejby on North Zealand is the perfect choice for a holiday filled with both relaxation and experiences. Vejby and the surrounding area offers no shortage of shops, small stores and plenty of natural beauty. Vejby is only approx. 50 km away from Copenhagen so a day trip for some shopping and sight-seeing is easily on the agenda.

      The central living space with kitchen, dining area and sofa area makes for a great place to gather and enjoy some together-time while cooking, dining, watching a movie or playing some board games. The modern kitchen is spacious and well appointed, so there is plenty of space to whip up a storm.

      From the living room you will be able to follow all the goings-on in the pool room plus there is direct access out to the partially covered terrace. The pool room has an 18 m2 swimming pool with counter-current system, water slide and Roman steps so water lovers can splash and swim for as long as their hearts desire. After a busy day of fun and excitement, nothing beats the bubbling whirlpool or the warming sauna as a way to unwind. You will also find the house’s third bathroom adjacent to the pool room.

      The activity room has billiards, table tennis, table football and darts, providing hours of fun and entertainment for guests of all ages. Spectators can lean back and enjoy the games with a cold drink from the house’s very own bar with fridge. Have a go on the house’s PlayStation 4 or watch a film at the sofa area.

      There is plenty of space for up to 16 people in the house – both around the table for shared meals and in the bedrooms overnight. There are six twin bedrooms in total nicely distributed across two distinct sleeping quarters each with three bedrooms and one bathroom. The remaining four spots are up in the loft.

      Enjoy a kick-about on the lawn in the garden where you will also find a sandbox and swings for the smallest among you. The house’s terrace makes for a great place to enjoy some cosy together time and some great good fresh from the barbecue.

      How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

      Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

      Renting a VillaVilla holiday home should be safe for you. This means that compared to a holiday in a similar holiday home with, for example, electric radiators, you will not experience nearly the same increase in price if energy prices rise. For houses with air-to-water heat pumps and ground-source heating, the cost of heating is included in the electricity charge.

      Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?

      It is possible to purchase a linen package with linen and two towels (one large and one small) for DKK 135 each. Alternatively, bring your own.

      Do you have to bring your own wood for the wood burnin stove?

      Yes, wood for the stove must be brought, but can often be bought locally in small portions.

      Do we need to bring our own games for the PlayStation?

      Absolutely! You need to bring your own games for the PlayStation games console.

      Are there cots and highchairs in the house?

      Absolutely! There is always a minimum of 1 cot and 1 high chair in our houses - please note that you will need to bring a mattress.

      Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

      Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.

      Will the pool be warm upon arrival?

      Absolutely! The pool is always heated to between 26-29 degrees and ready for use upon arrival.
