      Large holiday home for the whole family in Hostrup Strand by the Limfjord

      This Skanlux holiday home is brimming with fun and activities and a great place to enjoy a fantastic holiday by Denmark’s Limfjord and the sandy beaches around Hostrup Strand. The area around Hostrup Strand boasts various different attractions including Spøttrup Castle, the Geddal Enge bird sanctuary and sailing on the Limfjord from Lihme on board the veteran ferry Cathrine K. The charming town of Skive and Jesperhus Flower Park are also within driving distance.

      The house can accommodate up to 18 people and three pets.

      The activity room offers plenty to do for kids and big kids alike: billiards, table tennis, darts, table football and a PlayStation 4. What’s more, the activity room also has a home bar complete with bar stools and a fridge.

      Another popular room in this house is the wellness and swimming area. Go for a swim in the 18 m2 swimming pool with Roman steps, water slide and counter-current system and feel completely free to soak and splash for as long as the heart desires. After you can enjoy a moment in the bubbling whirlpool or warming sauna. At the heart of the house is a large living space where you can all gather and enjoy a shared meal around the long dining table.

      Here you will find a sofa area in front of the TV as well as a wood-burning stove to keep you nice and toasty on chillier days. The stylish kitchen is well equipped to cook for large groups. It has two sinks, two cookers and two dishwashers.

      The property sleeps 18 people across seven double bedrooms as well as a loft which sleeps four (best suited for children). The bedrooms are spread across two distinct sleeping quarters with three and four bedrooms respectively – and one bathroom in each area. The summer house has three bathrooms in total.

      Outside you will find a nice partially covered terrace where you can relax and enjoy the Danish summer weather. There is also a barbecue and for younger guests there are swings, a sandbox and a trampoline.

      How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

      Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

      Renting a VillaVilla holiday home should be safe for you. Over 90% of VillaVilla holiday homes are equipped with a Vølund heat pump, which delivers around 3.5-5 times as much heat energy as it uses in electrical energy. This means that compared to a holiday in a similar holiday home with, for example, electric radiators, you will not experience nearly the same increase in price if energy prices rise. For houses with air-to-water heat pumps and ground-source heating, the cost of heating is included in the electricity charge.

      Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?

      It is possible to purchase a linen package with linen and two towels (one large and one small) for DKK 135 each. Alternatively, bring your own.

      Do you have to bring your own wood for the wood burnin stove?

      Yes, wood for the stove must be brought, but can often be bought locally in small portions.

      Do we need to bring our own games for the PlayStation?

      Absolutely! You need to bring your own games for the PlayStation games console.

      Are there cots and highchairs in the house?

      Absolutely! There is always a minimum of 1 cot and 1 high chair in our houses - please note that you will need to bring a mattress.

      Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

      Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.

      Will the pool be warm upon arrival?

      Absolutely! The pool is always heated to between 26-29 degrees and ready for use upon arrival.
