      When gathering together the whole family for a holiday under one roof, it is crucial that you have plenty of space. This cosy holiday home has just that! The property is very spacious yet still retains that classic mood of Danish hygge. The house gives you the best possible setting for a lovely holiday in Denmark.

      The area around Houstrup Strand is very scenic and characterised by dunes and plantations. Houstrup Strand is a popular day-trip destination for the whole family as it has both a Blue Flag and excellent parking and toilet facilities. Attractions such as Legoland and Bork Harbour are just a short drive away. The Blåbjerg Kilt area of natural beauty is also well worth a visit. From the top you can try and count how many church spires you can spot in the distance – as many as forty should be visible in total.

      The house has its very own pool area with a 16 m2 swimming pool, a whirlpool and a sauna. So you’ll be able to soak and swim for as long as you like. The pool area is visible from the house’s dining table. After a good swim you can play a game of billiards or table tennis.

      The activity room also offers table football, darts and a PlayStation. Plus a nice home bar with fridge in the corner where you can serve up some cold drinks between rounds.

      The house has six bedrooms and three bathrooms in total. The remaining four spots are up in the loft above the activity room (best suited for children and teenagers). At the heart of the home is a cosy kitchen/living space where you can all assemble to prepare and enjoy delicious meals together. There is a sofa area in the corner where you can have a family movie night or relax by the heat of the wood-burning stove.

      The terrace has a barbecue and garden furniture while the garden has a swing, sandbox and trampoline for younger guests to enjoy.

      How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

      Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

      Renting a VillaVilla holiday home should be safe for you. This means that compared to a holiday in a similar holiday home with, for example, electric radiators, you will not experience nearly the same increase in price if energy prices rise.       Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?

      It is possible to purchase a linen package with linen and two towels (one large and one small) for DKK 135 each. Alternatively, bring your own.

      Do you have to bring your own wood for the wood burnin stove?

      Yes, wood for the stove must be brought, but can often be bought locally in small portions.

      Do we need to bring our own games for the PlayStation?

      Absolutely! You need to bring your own games for the PlayStation games console.

      Are there cots and highchairs in the house?

      Absolutely! There is always a minimum of 1 cot and 1 high chair in our houses - please note that you will need to bring a mattress.

      Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

      Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.

      Will the pool be warm upon arrival?

      Absolutely! The pool is always heated to between 26-29 degrees and ready for use upon arrival.
