      Large and beautiful holiday home by Houstrup Strand

      When holidaying with the whole family, you will want plenty of space and lots to do so you can all relax and have a great time together. This house can accommodate up to a whole 20 people and has an activity room packed with fun and games.

      It is located by Houstrup Strand on the shores of the North Sea and the local beach has been awarded a Blue Flag. The area around the house is very beautiful and great for long walks and outdoor pursuits. The surroundings are typical of a Danish holiday home area and feature both gorgeous dunes and white sandy beaches.

      The house has its very own mini water park with a 20 m2 swimming pool, a whirlpool and a sauna. The pool has a water slide, a counter-current system and Roman steps which make it easy to get in and out of the pool. The pool room is all yours during the entire stay and can be used as much as you want.

      Also in the house is a separate activity room where you can play billiards, table tennis, table football and darts. The activity room is also where you’ll find the house's wood-burning stove and some cosy armchairs around the PlayStation 4. Plus there is a home bar where you can enjoy a cold drink between rounds.

      The property has a combined kitchen and living space at its heart. Here you will find a sofa corner with a TV and a view of the pool room so you can keen an eye on your happy swimmers in the other room. The kitchen has two sinks, dishwashers, ovens and plenty of fridge space.

      Beauty sleep is a crucial part of any holiday. The eight bedrooms are spread across three distinct sleeping quarters so you will be able to retreat back for some peace and quiet without being disturbed by other guests who want to stay up a bit longer. There are four bathrooms in total across the property.

      The pool house has a lovely partially covered terrace where you can find shelter or shade depending on the weather. The terrace also has garden furniture and a barbecue.. The children can play in the sandbox, jump on the trampoline or go on the swing. The property has a storage room beside the kitchen and with access from outside where you can store drinks, groceries, prams, etc.

      How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

      Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

      Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?

      It is possible to purchase a linen package with linen and two towels (one large and one small) for DKK 135 each. Alternatively, bring your own.

      Yes, wood for the stove must be brought, but can often be bought locally in small portions.

      Do we need to bring our own games for the PlayStation?

      Absolutely! You need to bring your own games for the PlayStation games console.

      Are there cots and highchairs in the house?

      Absolutely! There is always a minimum of 1 cot and 1 high chair in our houses - please note that you will need to bring a mattress.

      Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

      Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.

      Will the pool be warm upon arrival?

      Absolutely! The pool is always heated to between 26-29 degrees and ready for use upon arrival.
