Luxury holiday home on Samsø

The island in the middle of the Kattegat is well known all across Denmark and even home to, Samsø, one of the country’s most charming festivals. Samsø is sure to be a hit if you need a break from the everyday grind and the opportunity to really unwind. The nature on Samsø is something truly special. With almost 100 kilometres of coastline, the island is encircled by beautiful beaches and steep escarpments, while inland you will find potato fields as far as the eye can so and some really gorgeous heathland areas.

The varied nature of the island is the perfect excuse to go on a long walk, although if you would rather have a guide, there are plenty of options for that as well. Samsø Museum organises village walks which give you the opportunity to stretch your legs over a few kilometres while listening to interesting stories about the island’s many towns.

Gastronomy is in focus on Samsø all year round. Delicious and local ingredients are the focal point in many of the island’s restaurants, where you can discover fresh interpretations of the season’s produce or simply enjoy an old classic.
