The house can accommodate up to 18 people and has an XL kitchen, which is designed to help make your trip that little bit easier. An XL kitchen is a kitchen which has two dishwashers, two ovens, two cookers and two fridges. Plus there is also more counter space than what you would find in an ordinary kitchen, and this makes it much easier for you to prepare meals together and feed the whole family while at the summer house. We know the old saying goes that too many cooks spoil the broth, but personally we aren’t so sure we agree. The more the merrier if you ask us!
The holiday home in Odsherred is designed around two different sleeping quarters, so all the family can have their needs met for peace and quiet at different times of the day. You can distribute the bedrooms however you like, but a good tip is to create a set-up that means you can move freely around the house without disturbing those who like to sleep in late. The sauna in the pool room is large enough to accommodate a small group and perfect for getting some heat back in your bones after a dip in the sea.
The holiday home also has an activity room, where you will find table tennis, billiards, darts and table football. Plus the activity room also has a Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 4 and an Apple TV. So you certainly won’t go bored in this house and you could even set up a huge games tournament that stretches across your entire holiday. Or if that sounds like too much effort, then simply play to determine whose turn it will be to do the dishes or prepare dinner if glory alone doesn’t strike you as prize enough!

Odsherred is a real family destination. It is home to wonderful and child-friendly beaches, charming harbours, lots of cycling and hiking trails plus lots of exciting attractions.
Odsherred is well-renowned for its unique and beautiful nature, and it is a geopark under the UNESCO Global Geopark Network. It is home to a totally unique ice-age landscape, which is of crucial significance to food production, art and cultural history in the area. For example, visit the Geopark and learn how the Trundholm Sun Chariot was discovered, or visit the Odsherred Art museum and check out an exhibition of paintings by the Odsherred Painters.
The natural landscape around Odsherred is popular for both hiking and cycling, and you will find marked trails all across the area. Due to the long and varied coastline, the area is also popular among anglers. Here you will be able to catch flatfish, mullet, sea trout and if you are lucky then maybe even cod as well. Take your catch back with you to the holiday home and cook it up for dinner, so the whole family can enjoy the fruits of your labour.

Odsherred is an area which is located in north-west Zealand and which encompasses many nice holiday home areas, small villages, gorgeous nature and exciting cultural activities.
The largest settlement in the area is the market town of Nykøbing Sjælland. Here you will find a variety of different stores along a charming walking street. You will find both cafés and restaurants, and down by the marina, is where you will find Kunstnerbyen where a group of local artists and artisans have their exhibitions and workshops.
A few kilometres away is where you will find Sommerland Sjælland, which is home to many different attractions and a huge water park. Perfect for both kids and big kids at heart. It is without a doubt worth visiting if you ever feel like you need a change from the tranquil and relaxing atmosphere at the holiday home.
Another exciting attraction in the area is Odsherred Zoo. It is home to over 600 different animal species, which you can meet up close at this large zoo. Enjoy a day trip with your family, and get up close to a different world than the one you normally experience.
