The nature around Ho is also very varied. Among other things, it is home to Ho Klintplantage, which is a large and protected dune and heathland area with marked hiking trails and viewing points.
In addition to the dune plantation, Ho Bay (Ho Bugt) is a popular and distinctive natural area with pleasant beach meadows. Here you can walk all the way out to the tip and watch the seals as they frolic in the deep tidal flats and channels.
There is a Nature Bus, which operates in high season, so you can go on a guided bus tour of the area around Ho and Blåvand. Definitely an experience worth trying.

Attractions and sights near Ho
Ho Church is an old and beautiful church from the middle of the 15th century with an associated porch. Inside you will find two votive ships, one of which is said to be the oldest in the Nordic Region.
Ho is also only a few kilometres from the popular resort town of Blåvand. Blåvand has good shopping options and plenty of life. In the high season, you will almost feel as if you’ve travelled to much more southerly climes than Denmark!
The roaring North Sea and the white sandy beaches around Blåvand are absolutely worth a visit.
The seaport town of Esbjerg is the fifth largest urban area in Denmark and just half an hour away from Ho by car. Here you will find both good shopping and some nice places to eat.
If you are looking for a bit more action and excitement, then Denmark’s most famous amusement park, Legoland, is just 75 km from Ho.
Tirpitz is a new museum near Blåvand. It is nestled amongst the dunes and offers a new and modern museum experience, comprised of different exhibitions which are suited for both children and adults.
