What is your role at VillaVilla?

On a daily basis, I work as a Digital Business Developer, juggling media, IT, languages, and partnerships as I focus on optimizing and developing VillaVilla’s digital platforms.

Since graduating from Aarhus Business School with a master’s degree in German and International Market Communication, I have worked in the holiday home industry. Most of my career has been with VillaVilla, where freedom with responsibility and new tasks continually inspire and challenge me both professionally and practically.

What do you do in your free time?

In my free time, I like to stay active—often together with my two daughters. Besides that, I relax with a good book or an interesting podcast in my ears. I’m also quite fond of board games; I think they’re a cozy way to spend time together.

I grew up in West Jutland and have a special fondness for the region, which, in my opinion, offers much more than just windy weather and great nature experiences. Think, for example, of a lovely Danish summer day by the beach with family or good friends—that’s truly the best thing about the West Coast. VillaVilla rents out many houses in West Jutland and along the west coast, so you can experience the region in the best possible way.

I also enjoy going to summer houses in other places and go several times a year, usually for weekend stays where we gather across generations. Everyone agrees it’s a wonderful tradition.

The landscape around Ho is wonderfully varied. Ho Dune Plantation is a large protected area of dunes and heathland with marked walking trails and scenic viewpoints. Ho Bay is a distinctive natural area with gentle salt meadows.

Hvide Sande

Around Hvide Sande, the North Sea can be experienced in every season. Summer brings beach days and sunbathing, while winter is perfect for invigorating coastal walks.

Henne Strand

Blåvand
