Even today fishing still goes on at the charming little harbour in Kramnitze, and if you take a walk along the harbour, you will have the option to buy fresh fish right off the boats to take home for lunch. Close to the harbour area is a very pleasant and child-friendly sandy beach with dunes. You can get some really fantastic views out over the sea and the flat landscape from the top of the dyke.
One of the things you will be able to spot from there is the lovely holiday home in Kramnitze, which we rent out at VillaVilla. Our summer house in Kramnitze can accommodate up to 12 people and is brimming with good possibilities to enjoy quality time and create memories. The holiday home is divided into two sleeping quarters, with two bedrooms in each area. One of the sleeping quarters is accessed via the activity room, and these two bedrooms each have double beds. The other bedrooms, which can be found on the opposite end of the holiday house by the kitchen, have single beds. The summer house also has a loft where there is space for up to four people to sleep. The loft is located above the bedrooms, which are beside the activity room. You will find mattresses in the loft. The loft is a good option for children, as they are often excited at the prospect of their very own den, which they can turn into a strictly adult-free zone. It makes a nice space for them to play together during the holiday.

Lovely outdoor facilities and cosiness
The holiday home that we rent out in Kramnitze is just 600 metres from the beach and located on a lovely nature plot with garden, large trees and verdant green surroundings. The holiday home has a large terrace, which is partially covered. Here you can enjoy warm summer days come rain or shine and rest assured that the roof will keep you warm even on early spring and autumn days, so you can enjoy them for longer. The terrace has garden furniture, sun loungers and a sheltered corner, where you can seek cover from the wind and enjoy a bit more privacy. While the adults relax here or prepare food on the barbecue, the kids can give it their all on the large grass lawn or the swing set. Here you will find a regular swing, a sensory swing and a slide. There is also a sandbox on the grounds and a net so you can play volleyball or games like croquet and kubb (Viking Chess). Provided the weather is right, you can enjoy an entire day out in the garden without going bored!
Unfortunately it is not possible to bring along four-legged family members to this holiday home. Dogs and other pets must therefore be left at home, in the care of a good friend or a neighbour. Activities in the holiday home by Kramnitze
When you stay in the holiday house we rent out in Kramnitze, you will have the option to enjoy the water no matter the time of year. As mentioned above, the holiday home is located just 600 metres from the beach, which is child-friendly and cleaned every three weeks in high season. The perfect place to spend many happy days, although if the weather is not quite right for a beach visit then you can soak at home instead. The larger of the bathrooms, which is accessed via the activity room, has both a whirlpool and a sauna. The whirlpool has room for between four and six people, who can enjoy warm air flowing in from the skylight just above it or the sound of rain hitting the window. Both relaxing in their own way. If you need to get some heat back in your bones after a brisk walk or regain the feeling in your toes after a dip in the cold winter sea, then you can use the sauna in the holiday home for this purpose. The sauna is easy to use and can accommodate a small group of people. Naturally the sauna is also a great option if you simply want a moment of peace and stillness to yourself.
In addition to these great wellbeing facilities, you will also find lots of games in the activity room, where you can spend hours competing against one another. The activity room has games such as table tennis, darts, billiards and table football. Hold a family tournament and compete individually or in teams to see who will be crowned ultimate family champion at the end of your trip. Or if it sounds too much like hard work to compete and keep track of scores for days on end, then you can just enjoy a friendly match or two to decide whose job it will be to clear up after dinner! In addition to the many games on offer there is also a games console in the activity room. In this case the console is a PlayStation 3. It is important to note that you need to bring your own games for the console, as there are none in the summer house. The activity room also has a television with over 45 channels, including Danish and German.

Attractions and sights near Kramnitze
Kramnitze and the surrounding area make for a great place to go on holiday. All things considered, the South Sea Islands make for a great holiday destination, which everyone should visit at least once. It offers plenty of things to do and enjoy, no matter what your preferences might be when it comes to your holidays.
If you like to get out and keep active while exploring beautiful nature, then Lolland is just the place to go with your family. The island is great for cycling, with its many exciting trails to explore – e.g. around the Maribo Lakes or Bandholm. Or if you would rather just putter about the area surrounding Kramnitze, then you can definitely enjoy doing that as well. Check out the gorgeous fields, which extend as far as the eye can see on one side, and the view of the sea on the other.
Like many other resort areas on Lolland, Kramnitze is located right by the sea. This means that there are plenty of opportunities for water sports. To the east of Kramnitze you will find a good spot for surfing, plus the conditions on this part of the island are also optimal for kayaking or if you want to try your hand at paddleboarding.
Or if you would prefer something a bit more relaxed, then why not visit the Paradise Garden (Paradishaven) and have a picnic among the flowers, shrubs and trees. Paradise Garden is only a half hour drive to the north. There is a whole 13,500 sqm of gardens to explore, so put on your walking shoes, pack some sun cream and enjoy an afternoon in beautiful and blooming surroundings.
If it’s culture, entertainment and mischief that you’re after, you won’t have to search far for that either. Kramnitze is close to the many attractions on Lolland, such as Knuthenborg Safari Park where you can take a trip around most of the world! The safari park has more than 40 animal species across different continents. The Medieval Centre on Lolland is definitely worth a visit as well. Travel back in time to the year 1400, where you can experience the atmosphere and flavours of the middle ages at the restaurant Den Gyldne Svane. Lalandia water park is also close to Kramnitze and offers many fun activities, so if the weather is not quite right for a proper dip in the sea, you can satisfy your need to splash around at Lalandia instead.
