A large, fully refurbished holiday home for 16 people with sea views, just 50 metres from the beach

Get into the holiday spirit right by the Kattegat in this fully renovated holiday home in Fjellerup, where the beach is just round the corner and the terrace offers views of the sea. There’s plenty of space for up to 16 people, modern furnishings and a lovely outdoor setting for your holiday – perfect for several families or a group of friends who want to stay close to the water whilst having space for both socialising and relaxation.

• Just 50 metres from the beach
• Large wooden terrace with sea views
• Covered outdoor kitchen with barbecue and bar

The holiday home features bright living areas and an inviting kitchen-diner, where holiday meals, board games and cosy moments naturally bring the whole group together. The modern style and the comprehensive renovation carried out in 2026 give the house a fresh and pleasant feel, making it easy to settle in from the very first day of your holiday. The living area opens out onto the outdoor spaces, so you can step straight out onto the terrace when the weather calls for long days in the open air.

Outdoor living is one of the house’s major attractions. The large wooden terrace wraps all the way round the house, offering plenty of opportunities to find sun, shade and shelter. Under the large canopy, there’s an outdoor kitchen, barbecue and outdoor bar, so cooking can become part of your time together. Here, you can enjoy your morning coffee with a view of the sea, barbecue your evening meal or gather for a quiet moment after a day at the beach. On the grounds, you’ll also find an outdoor spa, an outdoor shower, a fire pit and a swing, so both relaxation and holiday fun have been incorporated into the outdoor area.

Accommodation is spread across six bedrooms and a loft. Five rooms are furnished with a double bed, whilst the sixth is a family room with a double bed and a bunk bed. In addition, there is a loft with two mattresses, which is best suited for children. Three of the bedrooms are located in the annexe, along with one of the house’s two bathrooms, whilst the remaining bedrooms and the second bathroom are in the main house. This offers a flexible layout, allowing several families to holiday together whilst still having the opportunity to enjoy some privacy.

Fjellerup is a popular holiday destination in Norddjurs, with a child-friendly sandy beach, a cosy coastal atmosphere and excellent opportunities for walks along the water’s edge. Here you’re close to both restaurants and the beach, and the area offers a classic Danish summer holiday with ice cream, swimming and relaxing days by the Kattegat. If you fancy a day out, Djursland’s many attractions are within driving distance – from scenic countryside to family-friendly attractions.

Frequently asked questions about this type of holiday home

What time can we arrive at the house?

The house will be at your disposal from 15:00 on your day of arrival. It is not normally possible to access the house earlier than that.

What time do we need to vacate the house by?

The house is at your disposal until 10:00 on your day of departure (or 11:00 if you are departing on a Sunday). A later departure than that is not usually possible.

How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

If you need an estimate for a stay before you book your holiday home, our booking team is always ready to help you. As long as you know how big a holiday home you plan to rent, when you want to go and how many guests you will have, we can give you a price estimate for your consumption.

Renting a VillaVilla holiday home should be safe for you. Over 90% of VillaVilla holiday homes are equipped with a Vølund heat pump, which delivers around 3.5-5 times as much heat energy as it uses in electrical energy. This means that compared to a holiday in a similar holiday home with, for example, electric radiators, you will not experience nearly the same increase in price if energy prices rise. For houses with air-to-water heat pumps and ground-source heating, the cost of heating is included in the electricity charge.

Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?

It is possible to purchase a linen package with linen and two towels (one large and one small) for DKK 135 each. Alternatively, bring your own.

Do you have to bring your own wood for the wood burning stove?
