Family-friendly holiday home by Grenå Strand

This holiday home has been designed with a real sense for detail and features a great many wellness facilities both indoors and outdoors for a relaxed and enjoyable holiday experience in scenic surroundings. The house enjoys a good location in East Jutland close to the beach in Grenå and Mols Bjerge National Park. The area boasts plenty of nice angling spots, hiking routes and the longest and flattest mountain bike trail in Denmark.

There is room for 26 people, making this house a good choice for multiple families or the whole extended family to holiday under one roof. Even with all 26 spots occupied, there is plenty of space in this summer house with both a wide range of activities and options for relaxation on offer across the property.

Water fans and hydrophiles will be in paradise here. There is a 23 m2 indoor swimming pool where you can splash and soak all day long. The pool has Roman steps, water slide and counter-current system. Also in the same room is an exquisite whirlpool and a sauna. And if you want yet more well-being, you can hop in the outdoor jacuzzi and experience its warming bubbles and some fresh air at the same time.

At one end of the house is its popular games room. Here you can enjoy a spot of billiards, table tennis, darts or table football. You’ll have ample opportunity to go full pelt. The bar in the corner makes for a cosy place to watch or why not unwind in the sofa corner with a game on the PlayStation 4? The house also has a wood-burning stove which can heat you up on chillier days. It is located in the main living space, close to both the cosy sofa nook and the long dining table with views out to the terrace.

The stylish kitchen is well equipped and has two dishwashers, two ovens, two cookers, two sinks and plenty of fridge space.

When it comes time to hit the hay, you can take your pick of ten bedrooms or the loft (which sleeps six and is best suited for kids or teens). The bedrooms are spread across three distinct areas which is very practical as it means half the family can stay up later without disturbing the others when they eventually creep into bed. The house has four bathrooms in total.

Outdoors you will find a sink with table which you can use for preparing food or cleaning fish after a day out on the water. The partially covered terrace is equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue. The garden also has swings, a sandbox and a trampoline for younger guests.

Frequently asked questions about this type of holiday home

How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

If you need an estimate for a stay before you book your holiday home, our booking team is always ready to help you. As long as you know how big a holiday home you plan to rent, when you want to go and how many guests you will have, we can give you a price estimate for your consumption.

Renting a VillaVilla holiday home should be safe for you. Over 90% of VillaVilla holiday homes are equipped with a Vølund heat pump, which delivers around 3.5-5 times as much heat energy as it uses in electrical energy. This means that compared to a holiday in a similar holiday home with, for example, electric radiators, you will not experience nearly the same increase in price if energy prices rise. For houses with air-to-water heat pumps and ground-source heating, the cost of heating is included in the electricity charge.
