      A holiday home holiday is a great way to spend some time together as a family and this summer house has ample space for everyone. The house is located on the East Jutland coast around Grenå Strand. The beach is child-friendly and has a Blue Flag which is a mark of quality certifying that a beach meets certain standards for safety and water quality. The town of Grenå is just a short drive away and has many places where you can pick up groceries, go shopping or dine out.

      Inside, the central living space is bright and has high ceilings. The walls in the house are clad in wood for a cosy ambience and that true holiday feeling in Denmark. The open-plan living space has a well-equipped kitchen with kitchen island, two dishwashers, two ovens and two fridges/freezers. This is in addition to a sofa area in front of the TV where you can enjoy the heat of the wood-burning stove.

      The activity room has good facilities for fun and entertainment. It has table tennis, billiards and table football. You can also play a game of darts or hang back at the bar. The room also has a sofa area with a PlayStation 4 which you can use to play games or watch movies.

      The pool area is always a hit among keen swimmers and fans of the water. It has a 20 m2 swimming pool with Roman steps, counter-current system and water slide. You will also find everything you need to unwind and relax in the form of a large whirlpool and a warming sauna.

      The house can accommodate up to 18 guests, 14 of whom can sleep in one of the seven double bedrooms in the house with the remaining four can sleep up in the loft located above the activity room. The bedrooms are spread across two distinct sleeping quarters located at each end of the summer house. In total, the cottage has three bathrooms.

      Out in the garden you will find an in-ground trampoline as well as a swing and a sandbox. The terrace is partially covered and naturally has garden furniture and a barbecue so you can enjoy the Danish summer with a lovely BBQ outdoors.

      How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

      Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

      Renting a VillaVilla holiday home should be safe for you. This means that compared to a holiday in a similar holiday home with, for example, electric radiators, you will not experience nearly the same increase in price if energy prices rise. For houses with air-to-water heat pumps and ground-source heating, the cost of heating is included in the electricity charge.

      Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?

      It is possible to purchase a linen package with linen and two towels (one large and one small) for DKK 135 each. Alternatively, bring your own.

      Do you have to bring your own wood for the wood burnin stove?

      Yes, wood for the stove must be brought, but can often be bought locally in small portions.

      Do we need to bring our own games for the PlayStation?

      Absolutely! You need to bring your own games for the PlayStation games console.

      Are there cots and highchairs in the house?

      Absolutely! There is always a minimum of 1 cot and 1 high chair in our houses - please note that you will need to bring a mattress.

      Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

      Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.

      Will the pool be warm upon arrival?

      Absolutely! The pool is always heated to between 26-29 degrees and ready for use upon arrival.
