The house is designed to bring people together. It has six comfy bedrooms and four loft spots distributed across two separate sleeping areas, each with its own bathroom, offering plenty of space and privacy for both kids and adults alike.

      The large, open kitchen and living area is the natural heart of the home, providing you with a social space where you can chat and cook before then eating together at the long dining table. Over in the cosy lounge area, you can sink down into the sofas and enjoy the heat of the wood-burning stove on chillier days – it’s the perfect place to enjoy a mug of hot chocolate after a walk on the beach.

      The private pool area with counter-current system and water slide is sure to be a hit with both kids and adults, providing a place where you can swim, splash about and have fun. For those of you who love to get competitive, the activity room offers billiards, table tennis, table football and darts. Plus, it also has a sofa area with a TV so you can relax after a few intense bouts of competition.

      Summer days and light evenings are best enjoyed outdoors, and this house has a gorgeous terrace where the whole group can gather around a long dining table to share delicious dinners cooked on the barbecue. Waiting for you in the dedicated wellness area is a wooden-frame outdoor whirlpool and a sauna where you can unwind and treat yourself to a moment of zen. There is also a covered lounge area with comfortable furniture – the perfect place to enjoy a quiet moment with a good book or a cold drink.

      The kids will love the in-ground trampoline and swings in the garden, which overall is a great place to play and have fun. With a location just 550 metres from the beach, you can look forward to morning dips in the sea, long strolls along the water’s edge, and afternoons spent building sandcastles with the kids. Skåstrup and the wider Funen region are known for their gorgeous nature, charming towns and many great sights and landmarks. For example, the town of Bogense has something for everyone, from exciting Viking history to lots of beautiful nature. You can also explore its charming marina and cosy cafés.

      How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

      Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

      If you need an estimate for a stay before you book your holiday home, our booking team is always ready to help you. As long as you know how big a holiday home you plan to rent, when you want to go and how many guests you will have, we can give you a price estimate for your consumption.

      Renting a VillaVilla holiday home should be safe for you. Over 90% of VillaVilla holiday homes are equipped with a Vølund heat pump, which delivers around 3.5-5 times as much heat energy as it uses in electrical energy. This means that compared to a holiday in a similar holiday home with, for example, electric radiators, you will not experience nearly the same increase in price if energy prices rise. For houses with air-to-water heat pumps and ground-source heating, the cost of heating is included in the electricity charge.

      Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?

      It is possible to purchase a linen package with linen and two towels (one large and one small) for DKK 135 each. Alternatively, bring your own.

      Do you have to bring your own wood for the wood burnin stove?

      Yes, wood for the stove must be brought, but can often be bought locally in small portions.

      Do we need to bring our own games for the PlayStation?

      Absolutely! You need to bring your own games for the PlayStation games console.

      Are there cots and highchairs in the house?

      Absolutely! There is always a minimum of 1 cot and 1 high chair in our houses - please note that you will need to bring a mattress.

      Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

      Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.

      Will the pool be warm upon arrival?

      Absolutely! The pool is always heated to between 26-29 degrees and ready for use upon arrival.
