      If you’re planning a big holiday for all the family under one roof then this holiday home may be just what you're looking for! There is space here for up to 24 people and plenty to keep you both occupied and relaxed! The house is located close to the new Ostsee Resort Olpenitz by the German town of Kappeln – just an hour’s drive away from Flensburg (the area is still under development). Kappeln has a charming harbour area, shops and eateries.

      The summer house has its very own pool area with whirlpool, sauna and a swimming pool with both water slide and Roman steps. Here you are guaranteed a refreshing dip no matter what time of year you choose to take your holiday.

      Another popular room in this house is the large activity room where all guests will have ample opportunity to compete and have fun. Play a game of table football, billiards, darts or table tennis – or pull up a stool at the home bar and watch from the sidelines while you enjoy a cold drink. The activity room also has a sofa corner with a television and a PlayStation 4.

      At the centre of the house is a spacious kitchen and living space where – besides a dining table and sofa area with TV – you will find a well-equipped XL kitchen with kitchen island, two sinks, two cookers, two ovens, two dishwashers and plenty of fridge and freezer space. The kitchen/living space also has a wood-burning stove. In total the property sleeps 24 across nine double bedrooms and a loft which sleeps six (and is best suited for kids).

      The nine bedrooms spread across different areas of the house with a bathroom in each section which is practical if several families are holidaying together. There are four bathrooms in total here.

      On the terrace you will find both a barbecue and garden furniture. Close to the holiday home, you will find a large playground.

      How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

      Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

      If you need an estimate for a stay before you book your holiday home, our booking team is always ready to help you. As long as you know how big a holiday home you plan to rent, when you want to go and how many guests you will have, we can give you a price estimate for your consumption.

      Renting a VillaVilla holiday home should be safe for you. Over 90% of VillaVilla holiday homes are equipped with a Vølund heat pump, which delivers around 3.5-5 times as much heat energy as it uses in electrical energy. This means that compared to a holiday in a similar holiday home with, for example, electric radiators, you will not experience nearly the same increase in price if energy prices rise. For houses with air-to-water heat pumps and ground-source heating, the cost of heating is included in the electricity charge.

      Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?

      It is possible to purchase a linen package with linen and two towels (one large and one small) for DKK 135 each. Alternatively, bring your own.

      Do you have to bring your own wood for the wood burnin stove?

      Yes, wood for the stove must be brought, but can often be bought locally in small portions.

      Do we need to bring our own games for the PlayStation?

      Absolutely! You need to bring your own games for the PlayStation games console.

      Are there cots and highchairs in the house?

      Absolutely! There is always a minimum of 1 cot and 1 high chair in our houses - please note that you will need to bring a mattress.

      Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

      Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.

      Will the pool be warm upon arrival?

      Absolutely! The pool is always heated to between 26-29 degrees and ready for use upon arrival.
