This is a holiday home that’s simply brimming with entertainment for both big and small guests alike – no matter the weather or time of year. Inside water fans can splash and swim in the 18 m2 swimming pool with water slide, counter-current system and Roman steps. Or if it’s a bit of R&R you need after an action-packed day, the house also has a large whirlpool and inviting sauna.

In the activity room, friends and family can cut loose with a game of table tennis/billiards or electronic darts. Or if you’re more of a gaming family, then this is just the house for you. There is a sofa area with TV, fast internet (50/50), PS4, Xbox and a fully equipped gaming computer available for the use of guests.

One end of the central living space has a sofa area with a TV and a wood-burning stove where you can get cosy with a good book or film. At the other end you will find a long dining table where family and friends can gather together.

The kitchen is spacious and well appointed with, among other things, a Nespresso coffee machine and two dishwashers, but you can also prepare food outdoors on the partially covered terrace which has a gas barbecue and an outdoor kitchen for guests to use.

Also outdoors you will find plenty of activity for all age groups. The large grounds have a trampoline, darts, basketball hoop, volleyball net, football nets, play tower, sandbox and cheese board for the use and enjoyment of the house’s guests.

Enjoy the Danish summer with a spot of R&R on the terrace as you lounge in good-quality garden furniture. Towards the back of the plot is a shelter with space for six people and a firepit.

Sleeping accommodation is spread across seven bedrooms which all have either two single beds or one double, plus four box spring mattresses in the loft and a sofa bed in the activity room (140x200 cm.).

The beach in Marielyst has been named the best in Denmark three years in a row while Marielyst itself is a charming resort town with good shops and nice restaurants. Or if the kids prefer to stay closer to base, there is a pushcart on hand for them to play with and enjoy around the house.

Frequently asked questions about this type of holiday home

How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

If you need an estimate for a stay before you book your holiday home, our booking team is always ready to help you. As long as you know how big a holiday home you plan to rent, when you want to go and how many guests you will have, we can give you a price estimate for your consumption.

Renting a VillaVilla holiday home should be safe for you. Over 90% of VillaVilla holiday homes are equipped with a Vølund heat pump, which delivers around 3.5-5 times as much heat energy as it uses in electrical energy. This means that compared to a holiday in a similar holiday home with, for example, electric radiators, you will not experience nearly the same increase in price if energy prices rise. For houses with air-to-water heat pumps and ground-source heating, the cost of heating is included in the electricity charge.

Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?

It is possible to purchase a linen package with linen and two towels (one large and one small) for DKK 135 each. Alternatively, bring your own.

Do you have to bring your own wood for the wood burnin stove?

Yes, wood for the stove must be brought, but can often be bought locally in small portions.

Are there cots and highchairs in the house?

Absolutely! There is always a minimum of 1 cot and 1 high chair in our houses - please note that you will need to bring a mattress.

Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.

Will the pool be warm upon arrival?

Absolutely! The pool is always heated to between 26-29 degrees and ready for use upon arrival.
