      Cosy 16-person summer house in charming Marielyst

      A good set-up for larger families, lots of indoor activities and close to one of the best beaches in Denmark – these are just a few of the merits that this lovely 16-person summer house can boast. Located close to the idyllic town of Marielyst and with plenty to do at the property itself, you’ll be hard pushed to find a better holiday home than this.

      The fun begins at the home’s very own pool and wellness room. Here you will find an 18 m2 pool with associated water slide and Roman steps so you can enjoy an invigorating swim no matter the season. You can also use the whirlpool and sauna if you want to take that relaxed holiday feeling to brand new heights.

      Meanwhile the house’s activity room is sure to appeal to kids of any age who want to go head to head and enjoy a good time. Table football, billiards, table tennis, darts and games consoles are all on offer – so why not make an occasion of it and set up a family tournament to see who emerges as champion? Alternatively, if you prefer the role of spectator then you can take up a perch at the home bar and prepare yourself a cold refreshment.

      In the main living space of the house you will also find a cosy sofa nook where you can enjoy a good film or book while the chefs get busy in the kitchen. The large dining table naturally has room for all guests to sit together and enjoy a delicious bite to eat which can be prepared in the stylish and well-appointed kitchen.

      Out on the partially covered terrace you can fire up the barbecue, sunbathe in the loungers or enjoy your morning coffee in the garden which is surrounded by tall plants for privacy. On the west side of the house, you'll find a lovely sun-shaded outdoor area with an outdoor kitchen and a long table where you can all gather. Children can jump on the trampoline, swing in the garden, play on the play tower or play football on the large lawn in the undisturbed back garden.

      The house has two separate sleeping quarters with three comfy bedrooms and a bathroom in each area – a great set-up for the extended family or for several groups of friends. The house also has a large loft where overnighting guests can stay. This loft has its own TV and is usually a hit with kids.

      The house has an 11kw car charging stand and as an extra, an air conditioner/air purifier has been installed in the living room. The heat pump is equipped with the new Nanoe air purification system, which cleans the air with electrostatic fine particles of water and ensures that there is always clean and fresh air.

      How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

      Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

      If you need an estimate for a stay before you book your holiday home, our booking team is always ready to help you. As long as you know how big a holiday home you plan to rent, when you want to go and how many guests you will have, we can give you a price estimate for your consumption.

      Renting a VillaVilla holiday home should be safe for you. Over 90% of VillaVilla holiday homes are equipped with a Vølund heat pump, which delivers around 3.5-5 times as much heat energy as it uses in electrical energy. This means that compared to a holiday in a similar holiday home with, for example, electric radiators, you will not experience nearly the same increase in price if energy prices rise. For houses with air-to-water heat pumps and ground-source heating, the cost of heating is included in the electricity charge.

      Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?

      It is possible to purchase a linen package with linen and two towels (one large and one small) for DKK 135 each. Alternatively, bring your own.

      Do you have to bring your own wood for the wood burnin stove?

      Yes, wood for the stove must be brought, but can often be bought locally in small portions.

      Do we need to bring our own games for the PlayStation?

      Absolutely! You need to bring your own games for the PlayStation games console.

      Are there cots and highchairs in the house?

      Absolutely! There is always a minimum of 1 cot and 1 high chair in our houses - please note that you will need to bring a mattress.

      Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

      Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.

      Will the pool be warm upon arrival?

      Absolutely! The pool is always heated to between 26-29 degrees and ready for use upon arrival.
