    Holiday home with pool in Ålbæk in North Jutland

    In Ålbæk on the northeast coast of North Jutland lies this architect-designed summer house with many activities and plenty of space for 18 people. Ålbæk is an old fishing village which today still has both a marina and a fishing port. It is also home to a lovely child-friendly beach, beautiful woodland, dune landscapes and Råbjerg Mile – the largest moving dune in Northern Europe. Skagen is just 20 minutes north of Ålbæk.

    In this holiday home you are sure to have a good time no matter the time of year. After a long walk or another activity outdoors, you can relax in the whirlpool and the sauna – or go for a swim in the 18 m2 swimming pool which has Roman steps, a counter-current system and a water slide.

    The house has its own activity room where you can play and compete until the cows come home. You will find billiards, table tennis, table football, darts and a PlayStation 4.

    The activity room also has its very own bar with fridge where you can chill out and watch the games unfold.

    At the heart of the house is the large living space which consists of a sofa area with a TV and a wood-burning stove. From here you also have a view out onto the terrace. The long dining table has ample space for all 18 guests to gather together around a delicious meal which you can prepare in the stylish XL kitchen.

    There are two dishwashers, two sinks, two ovens/cookers and plenty of fridge and freezer space. The seven double bedrooms are spread across two distinct sleeping quarters with three and four bedrooms respectively plus one bathroom in each area. The house has three bathrooms in total.

    There is also a loft in the activity room which sleeps up to four people (best suited for kids). The partially covered terrace is a great place to enjoy the sun and summer. Fire up the barbecue and relax in good-quality garden furniture. The children will find a swing set, sandbox and trampoline to enjoy.

      How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

      Yes, wood for the stove must be brought, but can often be bought locally in small portions.

      Absolutely! You need to bring your own games for the PlayStation games console.

      Are there cots and highchairs in the house?

      Absolutely! There is always a minimum of 1 cot and 1 high chair in our houses - please note that you will need to bring a mattress.

      Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

      Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.

      Will the pool be warm upon arrival?

      Absolutely! The pool is always heated to between 26-29 degrees and ready for use upon arrival.
