Large pool house in Aalbæk close to Skagen

This is the summer house for your next holiday to Denmark! This pool house can accommodate up to 24 people and offers no shortage of activities for guests of all ages. The holiday home enjoys scenic surroundings in an area which is close to the sea and the beach in Aalbæk. Aalbæk is a lovely port town between Skagen and Frederikshavn – a hidden gem in northern Jutland. Among other things, it is close to migrating coastal dune Råbjerg Mile, the beguiling Sand-Covered Church and lots of natural beauty all around.

The house is built in a modern style and does not compromise on quality – beautiful, bright rooms with high ceilings ensure good acoustics and clean air even when the house is shared by many guests.

The multi-purpose space offers plenty to do for all ages. With table tennis table, table football, darts and billiards all on offer, there is sure to be something for everyone. Here you will also find your very own private bar with fridge and a sofa corner with TV and PlayStation 4.

Another popular space in this house is the large swimming and wellness area. The 20 m2 swimming pool is great for a revitalising dip while the whirlpool and sauna will be sure to tempt you in to enjoy a spot of self-care and that feeling of true relaxation. The swimming pool has a water slide, counter-current system and Roman steps.

The large kitchen is located at the heart of the home and has two of almost everything: two dishwashers, ovens, cookers, sinks and fridges. The kitchen island and long dining table create a great space for chatting and socialising while you get creative in the kitchen. You will find the sofa lounge in front of the television and close to the house's wood-burning stove.

Recharge your batteries and sleep well in one of the nine bedrooms or on quality mattresses up in the loft (best for children and young people). One of the bedrooms is extra spacious and is well suited for a young family to set up their travel cot. There are four bathrooms in total.

If the kids need a bit of fresh air, they can jump on the trampoline outdoors, go on the swing or play in the sandbox. The large and partially covered terrace has garden furniture and a barbecue so you can enjoy the Danish summer to the max.

Should you need it, there is also a type two electric car charger installed at the property.

Frequently asked questions about this type of holiday home

What time can we arrive at the house?

The house will be at your disposal from 15:00 on your day of arrival. It is not normally possible to access the house earlier than that.

What time do we need to vacate the house by?

The house is at your disposal until 10:00 on your day of departure (or 11:00 if you are departing on a Sunday). A later departure than that is not usually possible.

How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

If you need an estimate for a stay before you book your holiday home, our booking team is always ready to help you. As long as you know how big a holiday home you plan to rent, when you want to go and how many guests you will have, we can give you a price estimate for your consumption.

Renting a VillaVilla holiday home should be safe for you. Over 90% of VillaVilla holiday homes are equipped with a Vølund heat pump, which delivers around 3.5-5 times as much heat energy as it uses in electrical energy. This means that compared to a holiday in a similar holiday home with, for example, electric radiators, you will not experience nearly the same increase in price if energy prices rise. For houses with air-to-water heat pumps and ground-source heating, the cost of heating is included in the electricity charge.

Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?

It is possible to purchase a linen package with linen and two towels (one large and one small) for DKK 135 each. Alternatively, bring your own.

Do you have to bring your own wood for the wood burning stove?

Do we need to bring our own games for the gaming console?

Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.

Will the pool be warm upon arrival?
