      Big house with pool for rent in the holiday paradise of Ålbæk

      In the North Jutland holiday paradise of Ålbæk – not far from Skagen – lies this cosy and comfortable summer house for up to 18 people. The area is characterised by beautiful nature and is an especially great place to enjoy long walks with the whole gang. You can even walk down to the water’s edge as the summer house is only 1 km away from beach and bathing at Ålbæk Bay. Indoors you will find plenty of bright rooms, lots of activity and ample space for all the family.

      The house has two rooms which are dedicated to group activity for guaranteed fun and enjoyment no matter the time of year. The house has its very own pool area with an 18 m2 swimming pool as well as a sauna and a whirlpool for 4–6 people. The pool has a water slide and counter-current system and is sure to be a hit with the kids in your group.

      You can also enjoy the water outdoors in the warm outdoor hot tub which is located on the terrace. The perfect place to enjoy that true sensation of wellness in the fresh air.

      Next up is a large activity and games room. It offers everything from billiards and table tennis to table football and darts. Or if you prefer you role of spectator, you can take up a perch at the home bar and pour yourself a cold refreshment. Over at the sofa area by the TV you will find a PlayStation 4 where you can do some gaming (just remember to bring your own games), watch a good film or simply kick back and relax.

      At the heart of the home is the large kitchen and living space which is more than big enough to accommodate everyone. In here you will find high ceilings and plenty of space around the dining table so you can all enjoy shared meals together. The kitchen is well equipped with two ovens, two dishwashers and extra hob space – so big family dinners will be no problem at all. Also in this room is a cosy sofa area close to the wood-burning stove which will keep you nice and toasty on colder days.

      The house sleeps 18 people across seven bedrooms and a loft which sleeps four (and is best suited for kids and teens). The house has three bathrooms in total.

      The partially covered terrace is a nice place to relax and enjoy the Danish sun. Out there you will find garden furniture and a barbecue for outdoor dining. In addition, there is a swing, trampoline and play tower for the kids.

      Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?

      It is possible to purchase a linen package with linen and two towels (one large and one small) for DKK 135 each. Alternatively, bring your own.

      Do you have to bring your own wood for the wood burnin stove?

      Yes, wood for the stove must be brought, but can often be bought locally in small portions.

      Do we need to bring our own games for the PlayStation?

      Absolutely! You need to bring your own games for the PlayStation games console.

      Are there cots and highchairs in the house?

      Absolutely! There is always a minimum of 1 cot and 1 high chair in our houses - please note that you will need to bring a mattress.

      Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

      Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.

      Will the pool be warm upon arrival?

      Absolutely! The pool is always heated to between 26-29 degrees and ready for use upon arrival.
