Large Sammenhus™ in Højby with an indoor pool, outdoor spa, sauna and activity room

In this spacious holiday home in Højby, you’ll find a holiday retreat where togetherness, activities and relaxation go hand in hand. There’s plenty of space for up to 14 people, and the layout makes it ideal for several families or a large group of friends who want to holiday together without compromising on either fun or comfort. As a Sammenhus™, the holiday home has been designed with a focus on togetherness, great communal spaces and a holiday atmosphere for both children and adults.

• Indoor pool for shared water play and relaxation
• Activity room with billiards, table tennis, darts and table football
• Outdoor spa, sauna and outdoor shower on the terrace

The heart of the holiday home is the open-plan living area, where the kitchen, dining area and living room flow seamlessly into one another. Here, some can take charge of the cooking, whilst others set the table, play cards or relax in the sofa area. The wood-burning stove adds extra cosiness on chilly evenings, and the large communal areas make it easy for people of all ages to spend time together.

When you fancy a bit of friendly competition during your holiday, the games room is a natural gathering place. Here, you can organise table tennis tournaments, have a go at pool, hit the bullseye at the darts board or have a match on the table football table. It provides plenty of entertainment – even on days when the weather calls for some cosy indoor fun.

The pool area is one of the holiday home’s main attractions. Here, the whole family can get together for a swim, some water play and relaxation in pleasant surroundings. After a dip in the pool, it’s the perfect opportunity to head out onto the terrace, where the outdoor spa, sauna and outdoor shower add a touch of open-air wellness to your holiday.

Outdoors, there’s something for both adults and children. The children can spend time on the trampoline and the swing, whilst the adults enjoy life on the terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. This provides the perfect setting for long summer evenings, where meals are cooked al fresco and the day draws to a close at a leisurely pace.

Accommodation is spread across 5 bedrooms and 2 loft beds, with a total of 4 sleeping places, which are best suited to children. In addition, the holiday home has 2 bathrooms, making daily life easy, even when there are lots of you.

The area around Højby and Odsherred offers classic Danish holiday charm with beaches, nature, lovely places to visit and great opportunities for both cycling and walking. You’re also within driving distance of shops, restaurants and a golf course, so you can tailor your holiday exactly as you wish.

Frequently asked questions about this type of holiday home

What time can we arrive at the house?

The house will be at your disposal from 15:00 on your day of arrival. It is not normally possible to access the house earlier than that.

What time do we need to vacate the house by?

The house is at your disposal until 10:00 on your day of departure (or 11:00 if you are departing on a Sunday). A later departure than that is not usually possible.

How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

If you need an estimate for a stay before you book your holiday home, our booking team is always ready to help you. As long as you know how big a holiday home you plan to rent, when you want to go and how many guests you will have, we can give you a price estimate for your consumption.

Renting a VillaVilla holiday home should be safe for you. Over 90% of VillaVilla holiday homes are equipped with a Vølund heat pump, which delivers around 3.5-5 times as much heat energy as it uses in electrical energy. This means that compared to a holiday in a similar holiday home with, for example, electric radiators, you will not experience nearly the same increase in price if energy prices rise. For houses with air-to-water heat pumps and ground-source heating, the cost of heating is included in the electricity charge.

Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?
