      Inviting pool house for up to 30 people in scenic Mommark

      If you’re planning a holiday in southern Denmark with lots of space for family and friends then this summer house may be just the ticket. With its location in the charming Mommark area on the island of Als, the house is close to both town and beach. The house is within walking distance to the sandy beach in Mommark where you can enjoy long walks and swim in the sea. If you want to get and about around southern Jutland, the house is not far from the town of Sønderborg which is home to both shops and historic sights.

      The focal point of the house is its kitchen/living space where creative chefs can cut loose in the XL kitchen which has two ovens, plenty of hobs, two dishwashers and two sinks.

      Meanwhile the rest of the gang can relax in the sofa area or play a board game at the long dining table which has space for up to 30 people and a view in to the pool room.

      The house has its very own mini water park where water lovers can burn off some energy in the 23 m2 pool with Roman steps, counter-current system and water slide. Those who prefer to relax and enjoy a calming moment of wellness can instead make use of the whirlpool and sauna where you can disconnect completely from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

      The summer house has a large activity room with ample opportunity to challenge one another no matter your age. Go head to head at billiards, table tennis, darts, table football or play a game on the PlayStation 4? Who will emerge from the holiday as family champion? After the suspense and excitement of a close match, you can quench your thirst at the home bar with a fridge for cold drinks.

      All vacation homes in Mommark also have access to a large common outdoor play area and multi-purpose court. Here kids and big kids at heart can spend their days playing on the large pirate ship or swinging, sliding and climbing on the climbing frame. The grass-pitch multi-purpose court can also be used for football, basketball, football tennis, volleyball and badminton. Plus you will also find tables and benches where parents and spectators can follow all the goings-on and enjoy each other's company.

      As night falls and it comes time to wind down, you can retreat to one of the twelve double bedrooms which are divided across four distinct sleeping quarters each with three bedrooms and one bathroom. The remaining six guests can sleep across the two lofts which are accessed via the activity room.

      If you prefer to spend your time mostly outdoors, you can do this on the large and partially covered terrace. It provides a great setting to enjoy the Danish weather with plenty of seating. You can also use the barbecue to prepare your dinner. Please note that some outdoor photos are demo photos. The area is under construction and so there will be some construction activity in the area.

      How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

      Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

      If you need an estimate for a stay before you book your holiday home, our booking team is always ready to help you. As long as you know how big a holiday home you plan to rent, when you want to go and how many guests you will have, we can give you a price estimate for your consumption.

      Renting a VillaVilla holiday home should be safe for you. Over 90% of VillaVilla holiday homes are equipped with a Vølund heat pump, which delivers around 3.5-5 times as much heat energy as it uses in electrical energy. This means that compared to a holiday in a similar holiday home with, for example, electric radiators, you will not experience nearly the same increase in price if energy prices rise. For houses with air-to-water heat pumps and ground-source heating, the cost of heating is included in the electricity charge.

      Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?

      It is possible to purchase a linen package with linen and two towels (one large and one small) for DKK 135 each. Alternatively, bring your own.

      Do you have to bring your own wood for the wood burnin stove?

      Yes, wood for the stove must be brought, but can often be bought locally in small portions.

      Do we need to bring our own games for the PlayStation?

      Absolutely! You need to bring your own games for the PlayStation games console.

      Are there cots and highchairs in the house?

      Absolutely! There is always a minimum of 1 cot and 1 high chair in our houses - please note that you will need to bring a mattress.

      Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

      Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.

      Will the pool be warm upon arrival?

      Absolutely! The pool is always heated to between 26-29 degrees and ready for use upon arrival.
