      Spacious 24-person holiday home with pool in Mommark on Als

      Located on the scenic island of Als, this cottage accommodates up to 24 people. It presents a great opportunity to spend a lovely holiday in a hilly landscape, close to great beaches and not far from the town of Sønderborg where you will find many cafés and shops. Inside the house’s spacious interior you will also find plenty of activities to keep you occupied.

      The fun hours start in the house’s pool area where you can swim and splash to your heart’s content in the swimming pool with water slide and counter-current system. After a dip in the 20 m2 pool, you can then pamper yourself to a spot of relaxation and self-care in the warming sauna for that full sensation of wellness and true holiday relaxation.

      The activities do not end there. In the large activity room, you can unwind with a game of table tennis and billiards. Also in this room you will find table football, darts and a PlayStation 4. If you prefer being a spectator or playing referee, then you can take up your space at the corner bar for a front row view of the action. From here you can cheer on the players while you enjoy a nice cold drink from the bar’s very own fridge.

      Your meals can be enjoyed at the heart of the home which is a spacious and open-plan living and dining room. Gather around the long dining table or chill out in the sofa corner by the wood-burning stove which will keep you nice and toasty on chillier days.

      The large and beautiful XL kitchen is equipped with two sinks, extra large cooker, two ovens, two dishwashers and ample refrigerator space. So there is no excuse for not unleashing the full extent of your gastronomic abilities! When it comes time to hit the hay, you will find nine bedrooms to choose from across three separate areas each with one bathroom. Plus there is also an extra bathroom in the pool area. The remaining six guests can sleep up in the loft which is intended for younger guests.

      All holiday homes in Mommark have access to a large, common outdoor play area and multi-purpose court. Here kids and big kids at heart can spend their days playing on the large pirate ship or swinging, sliding and climbing on the climbing frame. The grass-pitch multi-purpose court can also be used for football, basketball, football tennis, volleyball and badminton. Plus you will also find tables and benches where parents and spectators can follow all the goings-on and enjoy each other's company.

      Guests at this house will have everything they need to enjoy the outdoors and to barbecue on the extra large terrace. The youngest guests can swing or build sand castles in the sandbox in the large play area outside. The terrace is tiled and partially covered so you will be able to enjoy meals outside even if the weather isn’t on your side. The area is under construction and so there will be some construction activity in the area.

      How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

      Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

      Renting a VillaVilla holiday home should be safe for you. This means that compared to a holiday in a similar holiday home with, for example, electric radiators, you will not experience nearly the same increase in price if energy prices rise.       Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?

      It is possible to purchase a linen package with linen and two towels (one large and one small) for DKK 135 each. Alternatively, bring your own.

      Do you have to bring your own wood for the wood burnin stove?

      Yes, wood for the stove must be brought, but can often be bought locally in small portions.

      Do we need to bring our own games for the PlayStation?

      Absolutely! You need to bring your own games for the PlayStation games console.

      Are there cots and highchairs in the house?

      Absolutely! There is always a minimum of 1 cot and 1 high chair in our houses - please note that you will need to bring a mattress.

      Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

      Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.

      Will the pool be warm upon arrival?

      Absolutely! The pool is always heated to between 26-29 degrees and ready for use upon arrival.
