      If you are heading off with all the family on a weekend break or holiday then this might just be the summer house for you.

      Located in the idyllic seaside area of Mommark Strand in Sydals, this house boasts a swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna and plenty of space for all the gang. The house has a total of six bedrooms which are divided across two distinct areas each with their own bathroom. There is one double bedroom in each wing of the house plus two twin bedrooms in each area. The house also has a spacious loft which sleeps up to six guests.

      The loft can also be used as a hang-out spot during the day. It has beanbag chairs and a TV which makes it a particular hit with younger guests.

      The pool is located next to the large and bright kitchen and living space so adults can keep a keen eye on their little swimmers from the dining area. The pool is 18 m2 and has a slide for the kids as well as a counter-current system for adult guests. Roman steps make it easy even for smaller kids to get in and out of the pool and join in with all the fun! The pool area is also where you will find the whirlpool and the sauna which are just perfect for enjoying total relaxation.

      If you’re more into games and play then head to the large activity room where you can enjoy a game of pool, table tennis or darts. Guests who would rather watch and chat their way through the day’s experiences can take up a perch at the bar. This is a nice place to enjoy a cold drink from the fridge or to play a game of cards. Over at the sofa and TV area you will find plenty of space to gather around for a movie or to have a go on the house’s PlayStation 4.

      At the heart of the summer house is a large and bright kitchen/living space which has ample space for everyone to gather for meals, games and fun. The kitchen is well appointed and has everything you will need to prepare packed lunches for the next day’s excursion, barbecue evenings out on the terrace or even a blow-out three-course meal to round off the holiday.

      Come rain or shine, you will be able to relax on the terrace which is partially covered. Out on the terrace you will find a Weber kettle barbecue ready and waiting for the family’s grill master while kids can play over in the garden on the play tower, trampoline and swings.

      All holiday homes in Mommark have access to a large, common outdoor play area and multi-purpose court. Here kids and big kids at heart can spend their days playing on the large pirate ship or swinging, sliding and climbing on the climbing frame. The grass-pitch multi-purpose court can also be used for football, basketball, football tennis, volleyball and badminton. Plus you will also find tables and benches where parents and spectators can follow all the goings-on and enjoy each other's company.

      How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

      Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

      Renting a VillaVilla holiday home should be safe for you. This means that compared to a holiday in a similar holiday home with, for example, electric radiators, you will not experience nearly the same increase in price if energy prices rise. For houses with air-to-water heat pumps and ground-source heating, the cost of heating is included in the electricity charge.

      Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?

      It is possible to purchase a linen package with linen and two towels (one large and one small) for DKK 135 each. Alternatively, bring your own.

      Do you have to bring your own wood for the wood burnin stove?

      Yes, wood for the stove must be brought, but can often be bought locally in small portions.

      Do we need to bring our own games for the PlayStation?

      Absolutely! You need to bring your own games for the PlayStation games console.

      Are there cots and highchairs in the house?

      Absolutely! There is always a minimum of 1 cot and 1 high chair in our houses - please note that you will need to bring a mattress.

      Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

      Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.

      Will the pool be warm upon arrival?

      Absolutely! The pool is always heated to between 26-29 degrees and ready for use upon arrival.
