    Beautiful holiday house with pool by Hostrup Strand by the Limfjord

    This large holiday home enjoys a scenic and tranquil setting in the holiday home area of Hostrup Strand by Denmark’s beautiful Limfjord. This is a great place to fish, relax on the child-friendly beach or go on an excursion to one of the area’s attractions such as Spøttrup Castle, the Geddal Enge bird sanctuary or a Limfjord boat ride from Lihme with on the veteran ferry, the Cathrine K. The charming town of Skive and Jesperhus Flower Park are also within driving distance of the summer house.

    The house has plenty of space and lots to do for up to 24 people. There are three distinct sleeping quarters each with three double bedrooms and a bathroom making this house a good option for several families.

    The remaining six guests can sleep up in the loft (best suited for kids). There is always something to do in this summer house no matter the time of year.

    Go for a swim in the 20 m2 swimming pool with Roman steps, water slide and counter-current system where you can splash and soak for as long as your heart desires.

    The pool area also has a whirlpool for up to six people and an inviting sauna. After your swim, the games may begin! The house has its very own activity/games room where you will find billiards, table tennis, darts, table football and PlayStation 4.

    The activity room is also where you will find the home bar with fridge where you can serve up some cold refreshments for the players. At the heart of the home is the large kitchen/living space. Here you will find a long dining table with room for all 24 guests and a cosy sofa corner in front of the TV.

    The stylish kitchen with kitchen island has everything you need to whip up a storm for the whole gang. There are two dishwashers, two cookers, two sinks and no shortage of fridge/freezer space. The wood-burning stove will keep you nice and toasty on colder days.

    Meanwhile the partially covered terrace is a great place to unwind and enjoy the Danish sunshine. It is equipped with garden furniture for all guests and a barbecue. Plus the garden also has a swing set, sandbox and trampoline for the kids.

      How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

      Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

      Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?

      It is possible to purchase a linen package with linen and two towels (one large and one small) for DKK 135 each. Alternatively, bring your own.

      Yes, wood for the stove must be brought, but can often be bought locally in small portions.

      Do we need to bring our own games for the PlayStation?

      Absolutely! You need to bring your own games for the PlayStation games console.

      Are there cots and highchairs in the house?

      Absolutely! There is always a minimum of 1 cot and 1 high chair in our houses - please note that you will need to bring a mattress.

      Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

      Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.

      Will the pool be warm upon arrival?

      Absolutely! The pool is always heated to between 26-29 degrees and ready for use upon arrival.
