Summerhouse No. 546 Hostrup Strand, The Limfjord

This luxury holiday home is located in Hostrup, in scenic surroundings near the Limfjord. The house can accommodate 30 people and is just a walk from the beach. The 335 m2 house is located on a large, secluded plot with views of fields and valleys.

The luxury house has 10 bedrooms divided into three sections to avoid unnecessary disturbances from each other. Each room has two single beds, with extra good mattresses that can be combined into double beds. Two of the rooms are larger and can either be used as disabled-friendly rooms or as 4-person family rooms with two good fold-out bunk beds. One of the lofts also has 6 beds, which is often a hit with younger guests. There is a bathroom in each of the three sleeping areas - the 4th is in the pool area. The large bathroom has a disabled-friendly toilet and shower, as well as a baby bath and changing table.

The house is fully equipped and has a beautiful XL kitchen with two dishwashers, ovens, sinks, extra large hobs and an American fridge with built-in cold water tap and ice cube maker. You can also enjoy the outdoor kitchen with charcoal and gas grills and a gas-heated pizza oven.

Indoors there is a lovely 23 m2 pool with a water slide, Roman steps and an extra powerful counter-current system for swim training and play. The pool is a saltwater pool, which automatically generates a low amount of chlorine and is therefore very pleasant to swim in, as you won't be bothered by chlorine air. You can also enjoy the heat in the indoor hot tub or in the sauna, which can be used as an infrared sauna as well as a regular sauna. If you prefer fresh air, the pool room has access to an outdoor spa area. Here you can enjoy the starry sky in the hot outdoor jacuzzi, which can be combined with a rinse under the outdoor shower.

In the activity room, you can relax in the cosy bar corner or compete in billiards, pool, air hockey, table tennis or table football, or relax on the sofa corner with a movie.
In one of the lofts, you can play Playstation 5 in the beanbags or enjoy a film in peace and quiet, while in the living room there is an electric piano and guitar for singing together or practising your musical skills.
There are also exercise mats and elastic bands for indoor exercise, movement and play. From the bar there is access to the cosy covered wooden terrace with shade, where evenings can be enjoyed outside, whatever the weather, under the patio heater.


The outdoor facilities are just as great as the indoor ones. In the garden there's a huge sandpit with an excavator, climbing tower, large swings and seesaw, and of course a trampoline next to it. There's also a multi-purpose court and basketball hoops for active play with either basketball, football or hockey sticks, as well as a petanque court for quieter outdoor activities. From the kitchen there is access to the east-facing morning terrace that invites you to enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee in the lounge furniture. The garden offers nature experiences, with an herb garden and plenty of fruit bushes with edible berries for all guests to enjoy. For a more environmentally friendly holiday, we have invested in solar panels on the south-facing roof surface and purchased green wind turbine power for the electricity consumption of the house.

The Hostrup area offers beautiful nature, a lovely beach with a jetty and a slipway.
The fjord invites you to go kite or windsurfing, swimming, fishing or crabbing from the jetty. From the house you can take a trip and visit attractions such as Spøttrup Castle, Hjerl Hede Open Air Museum, Daubjerg Limestone Mines, Jesperhus Holiday Park, Thy National Park and many more. Grocery shopping is possible in Lem, which is 3 kilometres away.
