Holiday home with outdoor spa in idyllic dune landscape between beach and town in Henne Strand

Located just 750 metres from the North Sea and close to the resort town of Henne Strand lies this thatched holiday home for up to 14 people. In addition to its perfect location and interior decor, this vacation rental also offers a wealth of different activities and plenty of space both indoors and outside on the large terraces. What you have here is the perfect setting for a family holiday or a break with friends – and you’ll be hard pushed to find a better spot than this.

With its stylish decor and many activities, this house is an ideal setting for both fun and relaxation on your holiday. A short walk along paths through the dunes will take you either to the water or the town where you will find outdoor activities and holiday atmosphere.

The large protected heathland of Lyngbo Hede is just a few metres from the house and a great place to explore on brisk walks. The Filsø nature reserve can be reached by bike and just a little bit farther away is the architecturally and historically interesting Tirpitz Museum.

More outdoor activities can be founds on the grounds of the holiday home itself. Here you can enjoy the use of two large terraces with plenty of room for shared meals and moments spent (hopefully) under clear and sunny skies. You can prepare food on the terraces as you listen to the sounds of the water, cooking on the barbecue while the kids play hide and seek in the dune landscape that surrounds the house. The largest of the two terraces can be accessed from the living room, the kitchen and the larger of the two bathrooms. The terrace occupies most of the west-facing long-side of the house and boasts many cosy spots where guests can relax. Chief among them is the warm outdoor got tub where you can enjoy a warm soak in the fresh air. Afterwards you can freshen up with a cold shower in the outdoor shower which is especially enjoyable on warmer days.

In addition to these outdoor facilities, you will also find an indoor sauna in the house's largest bathroom. Let the heat of the sauna embrace you after a session in the outdoor hot tub or a cold shower outside.

As your swimwear hangs up to dry you can unleash your competitive side in the house activity room. Play a game of billiards or table tennis on the combined table or have a go on the PlayStation 4 (just remember to bring your own games). The activity room also has direct access out to one of the holiday home’s two terraces.

When your stomachs start to rumble, you can quell your hunger in the summer house’s well-appointed kitchen. Here you will find plenty of space for many people to gather and cook meals together, and you can enjoy the fruits of all your hard work around the long dining table in the centre of the room. The kitchen also has a cosy alcove area where kids and adults can keep the chefs cooking and relax to the sound of boiling pots and clanging pans. Directly connected to the kitchen is the large living and dining space. Here you can enjoy your evenings in comfortable furniture while you watch a good film or simply flick on the TV.

After a long day full of fun and activity, you can enjoy a good night’s sleep in one of the summer house’s five double bedrooms. The remaining four guests can sleep up in the loft which is intended for use by younger guests.

Frequently asked questions about this type of holiday home

How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

If you need an estimate for a stay before you book your holiday home, our booking team is always ready to help you. As long as you know how big a holiday home you plan to rent, when you want to go and how many guests you will have, we can give you a price estimate for your consumption.

Renting a VillaVilla holiday home should be safe for you. Over 90% of VillaVilla holiday homes are equipped with a Vølund heat pump, which delivers around 3.5-5 times as much heat energy as it uses in electrical energy. This means that compared to a holiday in a similar holiday home with, for example, electric radiators, you will not experience nearly the same increase in price if energy prices rise. For houses with air-to-water heat pumps and ground-source heating, the cost of heating is included in the electricity charge.
