Big house with pool for rent by Houstrup Strand

Denmark’s west coast is a popular holiday spot in the country – and not without good reason. This region by the North Sea has both beaches and water activities to enjoy in the summer period plus long and invigorating walks you can enjoy in both the autumn and winter. Houstrup Strand is a real pearl in West Jutland with a Blue Flag beach known for its relatively still and shallow waters.

The pool room in this house is sure to go down well with natural-born swimmers and fans of the water. Here you can swim all day long, slide on the water slide or try out the counter-current system. The 18 m2 pool also has Roman steps which makes it easier to get in and out. You can also go for a soak in the whirlpool or enjoy the heat of the sauna.

The activity room has plenty on offer for high-octane fun. Here you can play table tennis, billiards, table football, darts or a Danish board game known as Bob (similar to carrom). The bar in the corner has a fridge. The activity room also has a shuffleboard and a cosy sofa corner with a TV and a PlayStation 4.

At the heart of the house is a pleasant kitchen and living space with high ceilings and a stylish kitchen. Here you will find two dishwashers, two ovens and two fridge-freezers. Naturally there is ample space for all guests to gather and enjoy a delicious meal together. Plus there is also a sofa area with television and wood-burning stove.

The house has two distinct sleeping quarters with three and four bedrooms respectively and one bathroom in each area. The remaining four guests can find space up in the loft which is often a popular spot among kids and teens. The summer house has three bathrooms in total.

Outdoors there is a partially covered terrace with terrace heater to keep you toasty when enjoying barbecues and evenings in the sun. The kids can jump on the trampoline in the garden or play in the sandbox. There is also a swing and a play tower.

Frequently asked questions about this type of holiday home

How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

If you need an estimate for a stay before you book your holiday home, our booking team is always ready to help you. As long as you know how big a holiday home you plan to rent, when you want to go and how many guests you will have, we can give you a price estimate for your consumption.

Renting a VillaVilla holiday home should be safe for you. Over 90% of VillaVilla holiday homes are equipped with a Vølund heat pump, which delivers around 3.5-5 times as much heat energy as it uses in electrical energy. This means that compared to a holiday in a similar holiday home with, for example, electric radiators, you will not experience nearly the same increase in price if energy prices rise. For houses with air-to-water heat pumps and ground-source heating, the cost of heating is included in the electricity charge.
