    Beautiful holiday house with pool by Houstrup Strand

    This holiday home is bright and inviting in both summer and winter. The house is located by Houstrup Strand – a beautiful area close to the magnificent and beautiful North Sea.

    It can accommodate up to 18 people holidaying under the one roof. The summer house is well suited for hosting large groups as it is divided into different living areas where you will find plenty of space to be active and have fun.

    For example, the large activity room has a range of games on offer – billiards, table tennis, darts and table football. Plus you can play the PlayStation 4 or watch a film from the cosy sofa area in the corner (remember to bring your own games and films). The activity room even has a bar with a fridge where you can serve up some cold drinks in between games.

    Over in the large pool area you will find ample ways to exercise and relax. There is an 18 m2 swimming pool with water slide and Roman steps. The bubbling whirlpool offers that full spa experience while the sauna is great for warming up on cold days.

    At the heart of the property is a large living space. It has high ceilings and plenty of room for all to gather. The kitchen is well equipped with two dishwashers and ovens making it easy to cook dinners for many guests.

    The house has seven bedrooms with twin beds which can be pushed together to form a double or kept apart if preferred. The remaining guests can sleep up in the loft which is often a popular choice among kids and teens. The house has three bathrooms in total.

    Out on the terrace you will of course find garden furniture so you can enjoy the good weather. The terrace is partially covered so you can also find shade or shelter – all depending on how the Danish weather turns out. Also outside is the house’s barbecue. In the garden there is a trampoline for the kids. The entire garden is fenced in, making it safe for children and dogs to roam.

    The holiday home has a large bike shed. The shed can be locked, making it ideal for cycling enthusiasts, cycling clubs or anyone else who wants to lock up bikes, prams and the like during their holiday.

      How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

      Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

      Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?

      It is possible to purchase a linen package with linen and two towels (one large and one small) for DKK 135 each. Alternatively, bring your own.

      Yes, wood for the stove must be brought, but can often be bought locally in small portions.

      Do we need to bring our own games for the PlayStation?

      Absolutely! You need to bring your own games for the PlayStation games console.

      Are there cots and highchairs in the house?

      Absolutely! There is always a minimum of 1 cot and 1 high chair in our houses - please note that you will need to bring a mattress.

      Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

      Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.

      Will the pool be warm upon arrival?

      Absolutely! The pool is always heated to between 26-29 degrees and ready for use upon arrival.
