Inside, you are welcomed into a bright and inviting living area with a high ceiling, where the kitchen, dining area and living room merge into one large communal space. The large windows let in plenty of light and create an airy atmosphere, perfect for gathering round the kitchen, playing board games or watching a good film on the sofa. The wood-burning stove provides extra cosiness on chilly days, whilst the wine cooler adds the finishing touch to a successful dinner.

The holiday home has four bedrooms, all furnished with double beds, as well as a loft with two mattresses, which is best suited for children. The layout makes it easy to spread out, whether you’re travelling as one large family or several couples. With two bathrooms, you’ll avoid queues in the morning, and in one of them you’ll find an indoor spa bath, where a glass dome in the ceiling lets daylight stream down over the water. There is also a sauna, perfect for unwinding after a day in the fresh westerly breeze.

When you fancy a bit of extra activity, you can compete at snooker, table tennis or darts and let the holiday spirit take hold. Outdoors, the possibilities continue: the large covered wooden terrace is equipped with an outdoor kitchen and gas barbecue, so meals can easily be enjoyed al fresco. There is also an outdoor shower, a fire pit and good play facilities for the children, including a swing. With several terraces around the house, it is always possible to find a sunny spot or a sheltered spot.
