      Welcome to this fantastic holiday home close to Søndervig Strand, which was voted Denmark's best in 2014, and the resort town of Søndervig with all its many experiences.

      The Skanlux house has nice pool area with an 18 m2 saltwater pool with slide and counter-current system, as well as a sauna and spa where you can warm yourself up on even the coldest of days.

      The activity room is brimming with fun activities for all ages. Enjoy a game of billiards, table tennis, table football or darts. Plus there is also an Xbox in the cosy sofa area in addition to a cosy bar with fridge for serving up cold drinks.

      At the centre of the house is the large open-plan living space with well-equipped kitchen and room for all guests around the large dining table.

      There is also a comfortable sofa area with TV where you can have fun and relax with the wood-burning stove. From the living room there is access to the large and partially covered terrace, where you can enjoy the Danish summer in good garden furniture.

      On the terrace you will find a covered outdoor kitchen with gas barbecue, so you can cook and serve up delicious meals to family and friends.

      In spring 2023, the house was updated with new comfortable beds, lovely new furniture in the large activity room and new showers in the house's bathrooms.

      The house is divided into two distinct sleeping quarters which combined contain two double bedrooms, five bedrooms each with two single beds and one loft which sleeps four people.

      The large natural plot has plenty of space where the kids can play in the sandbox, the swing or jump on the trampoline.

      The house comes with an 11-KW charging station, in case you drive out there in an electric car. This way you don't have to spend your precious holiday time searching for charging stations in the area.

      How is electricity, water and heating consumption billed?

      Consumption is calculated based on the meter reading on arrival/departure. You can always see the current consumption price for your stay via the tenant login that you receive when you have rented a holiday home.

      If you need an estimate for a stay before you book your holiday home, our booking team is always ready to help you. As long as you know how big a holiday home you plan to rent, when you want to go and how many guests you will have, we can give you a price estimate for your consumption.

      Renting a VillaVilla holiday home should be safe for you. Over 90% of VillaVilla holiday homes are equipped with a Vølund heat pump, which delivers around 3.5-5 times as much heat energy as it uses in electrical energy. This means that compared to a holiday in a similar holiday home with, for example, electric radiators, you will not experience nearly the same increase in price if energy prices rise. For houses with air-to-water heat pumps and ground-source heating, the cost of heating is included in the electricity charge.

      Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?

      It is possible to purchase a linen package with linen and two towels (one large and one small) for DKK 135 each. Alternatively, bring your own.

      Do you have to bring your own wood for the wood burnin stove?

      Yes, wood for the stove must be brought, but can often be bought locally in small portions.

      Do we need to bring our own games for the PlayStation?

      Absolutely! You need to bring your own games for the PlayStation games console.

      Are there cots and highchairs in the house?

      Absolutely! There is always a minimum of 1 cot and 1 high chair in our houses - please note that you will need to bring a mattress.

      Are there duvets and pillows in the cottage?

      Absolutely! Duvets and pillows are always provided for the number of people the house allows. However, you must bring your own duvets and pillows for children's beds.

      Will the pool be warm upon arrival?

      Absolutely! The pool is always heated to between 26-29 degrees and ready for use upon arrival.
