The nature in the area around Grenå Strand is characterised by green forests, beautiful dunes and a white sandy beach, which has been named the second best in Denmark. Grenå Strand has been awarded Blue Flag status and has calm and shallow waters, which are very child friendly. You will find toilets and good parking at several locations along Grenå Strand.
The holiday homes we rent out at Grenå Strand through VillaVilla are just a 10 minute walk from the area’s child-friendly beaches. If you are heading off on holiday with the whole family in tow, then our holiday homes at Grenå Strand are the perfect option. This is because they have plenty of room for lots of guests. The smallest of the holiday homes can accommodate up to 18 people, while the largest can accommodate up to a whole 30 overnight guests. Our large, family-friendly holiday homes feature a layout and design which makes it easy for many people to holiday together. After all, even if there is nothing better than going on holiday with the whole family, it can also be trying during times when you need a moment of peace to yourself.
All of the holiday homes that we rent out at Grenå Strand have a very natural layout, which allows you to enjoy a certain degree of privacy within the house. The layout of the bedrooms is particularly emblematic of this. All the holiday homes at Grenå Strand are divided into different sleeping quarters. For example, the summer house for 18 people (which is the smallest in the area) has two sleeping quarters with three and four bedrooms in each section, while the largest (for 30 people) has four sleeping quarters with three bedrooms in each area. Each sleeping quarter has its own associated bathroom. In addition, all of the holiday homes have at least one loft, which can accommodate between two and four guests – the loft is normally a huge hit among the younger guests. These examples are just to give you an idea as to how the bedrooms in our houses are divided and laid out. You can always check exactly how each summer house is laid out by taking a look at its floor plan. Our holiday houses are laid out like this in order to ensure that guests can stay up late, go to bed early, take a nap and find some peace and quiet when they need to without disturbing others or being disturbed. For example, let slumbering teenagers take over the part of the holiday home located furthest from the kitchen so that early birds can enjoy their morning coffee and breakfast without having to worry about a groggy teenager coming in and shushing them.
All of the holiday homes at Grenå Strand also have an XL kitchen. What does that mean exactly? It means that they have double the kitchen appliances. For example they have two ovens, two cookers, two fridges, two dishwashers and some also have two sinks. Plus plenty of counter space. This makes it easier and more convenient to prepare the many delicious meals you will no doubt enjoy over the course of your stay. No matter whether you plan to cook food in smaller teams or if you want to get everyone involved at the same time, you will be able to organise things however you like in one of these XL kitchens.
If you have four-legged family members that you would like to take with you on your holiday, then we have good news. Most of the holiday homes that we rent out in Grenå Strand allow you to bring up to two pets with you. So the dog is welcome to join in on all the fun. If you need to bring more than two pets, you are welcome to contact us. We will pass your request on to the homeowner to try and find a solution that works for you both.

Gaming tournaments and swimming all year round
How do you most enjoy spending your time in a holiday home? It is impossible for anyone to get bored at the holiday homes VillaVilla rents out. Hours of fun, entertainment and excitement await at each of our properties.
Each holiday home has its own activity room – a veritable goldmine of games and entertainment. Darts, billiards, table tennis and table football are all games that you can easily play for hours upon hour hours if you want to really hone your skills, or simply play a quick game to decide whose job it is to do the dishes. You could even consider setting up a huge tournament which involves competing in teams at all the games over the course of your holiday. Or if you would rather just kick back with some video games, you will also find a games console in all of the holiday homes. In many of the homes the console available is a PlayStation 4. It is important to note however that you will need to bring your own games for the console available in the house you choose. No games are available at the summer house. If you need a cold drink or a time-out, you can take a break at the holiday home bar. The bar is also located in the activity room, and it has its own fridge so you can have cold drinks on stand by for when you need them.
The water can be enjoyed all year round at Grenå Strand. For starters, one of the best and most child-friendly beaches in Denmark is located just a short walk away from the holiday homes. However, even if the weather lets you down, there will be no need to panic. You can enjoy a swim without even having to set foot outside the door. All of the holiday homes at Grenå Strand have a pool section with an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool and sauna. The exact size of the pool will depend on the size of the house, but they are normally between 18 and 23 m2. The whirlpool is located in a corner of the pool room, so you will have no trouble keeping an eye on the activity in the pool, while the sauna is located in a separate room. Both the whirlpool and sauna can accommodate a small group. The sauna is especially good for warming cold cheeks and thawing your toes after a dip in the cold sea in the winter or a brisk walk in the nippy autumn weather.
